The Men's Spring Event will be a hike at Carvin's Cove and lunch afterward at Mama Jean's BBQ on Saturday, May 11th.

Folks in the Salem area will meet at the Salem 311 Park-and-Ride at 10:00am and car pool to the Carvin's Cove Recreation Area (9644 Reservoir Rd, Roanoke). Those coming from I-581 can coordinate with Hugh Maness at (540) 204-1690. You can also meet us by driving directly to Carvin's Cove; parking is $7.00.

We will walk out and back Trail 1 for a total hike of 3-4 miles. After the hike we will go to Mama Jean's BBQ (3404 Brandon Ave SW, Roanoke) for lunch. After lunch the car pools will return to 311 Park and Ride and any other locations.so people can get home.
